Tuesday, October 3, 2017Illinois was among one of the first states to enact its all-offender ignition interlock law. Since 2009, the state has seen a 14 percent reduction in drunk driving fatalities. Illinois could improve its drunk driving laws by restoring unrestricted driving privileges only after proof of driving with an ignition interlock, without failed tests for a certain period of time. Monday, October 2, 2017Currently, 19 states and the District of Columbia have laws requiring all motorcyclists to wear a helmet, known as universal helmet laws.
